I still remember when I started studying design at architecture school and learning about what drives design. 'It's about creating or defining the way we live, and think.'  I grew up in a time and place of radical change in China. To me, the power of design is strongly perceived in all aspects - from the pattern on my t-shirt to the layout of my living room, from how I eat my dinner to how I travel.

 

Still, I feel the deficiency and loneliness in how we adapt to the shift - 'If only I can meet people in this way...' 'If only I can find what I need...' or 'I feel lost but I don't know why or how...'. That's what I'm always passionate about being a designer - to fill the void in life and provide creative yet precise solutions.
